WHO IS MARIELENA?

Hi. And Welcome to Caffe con Panna! 

If you are here and reading this, thanks in advance! My name is Marielena and some friends call me Mari, pronounced like Mary but also with a short ‘a’ if you want to say it in Spanish. At any rate, you are here. This is where I try to make sense of this crazy thing I call life!  Who am I? Well, I am a daughter of immigrants, struggling to be a faithful Catholic who loves her Mother-- the Church. I’m also an apartment dwelling Dog Mom who loves to dance! I wear many hats and carry lots of things, some waaaay better than others! This little blog is my attempt to share my heart, my journey, and my life. Not so the world can tell me how great I am but so that other single, healing beautiful people can know that we are not alone and we are just trying to figure our shit out! It will take some time, lots of prayers, sometimes a hug, a hint of patients, and a vat of coffee. BUT I believe in us!  

Made it this far? 

This blog is a place where I try to share and make sense of this world, from my perspective. Life gets dark, sometimes it's funny but it is always real, raw and full of passion, this blog is a reflection of that! All of it!  Because, well, that is the life that I live.
